We have a 10+ year understanding of customer needs and goals, and as a standalone company, Pulse Secure now brings additional resources and focus to solve the challenges in enterprise mobility faster than ever before.
Provide onsite assistance as an SME for Pulse Products and technical support needed to accredit and deploy an enterprise solution. This includes engineering support needed for the deployment of campus wide 802.1x authentication management capability.
Provide Pulse Secure’s customer access to technical product knowledge and resources. On-site support shall also include remote support to NAC installations and shall include onsite support to the central management system.
Enforce access policies and procedures to ensure that only authorized personnel have access to protected resources.
On-site Technical Support for at least 6 months including: Technical support services, software support to include patches/upgrades, and hardware (if applicable) replacement for failed components to ensure active management, reliable operations and rapid restoration of failed systems.
Hold network information gathering workshops with the Customer to understand the Customer’s existing network design and technical requirements of new network designs
Understand the Customer’s organizational structure and become familiar with the Customer’s network implementation and support processes and procedures to help in supporting a network that is available and sustainable.
Carry out testing of new Designs, features, and functionality as required by the Customer in a laboratory environment and to help develop plans to implement and verify that they are operating correctly in the live network
Test patches and fixes to operating software and to ensure that they are implemented and functioning correctly in the pre-production test network and then live network as implementation plans dictate.
Troubleshoot equipment and network problems and to open and track Pulse Secure Service Requests on pre and post production issues
Raise equipment Return Material Authorizations (RMA’s) and to track these through to problem resolution
Produce a written summary report of the status of Design projects, equipment and network problems on a regular basis to the Customer
Hold technology workshops with the Customer to discuss equipment and network problems, and to provide case status updates, including the reasons for any problems encountered and the workarounds and/or solutions that are being tried
Train the Customer’s design, implementation and support personnel to configure and operate the Pulse Secure products
Assist the Customer to develop Network Operating and Equipment Operating Procedures
Support production environment of Pulse Secure products within the Customer infrastructure
Support ongoing efforts in defining best practice policies for Pulse Secure product applications used by Customer
You may be required to travel to the customer’s sites within the United States or Abroad.
Eight to ten years of overall network engineering experience with certification on Pulse Secure Policy Secure Product. The validity of the Pulse Secure certification must be greater than 6 months at the start of employment
Expert level relationship management, communications skills and interpersonal skills to manage face to face communications on a daily basis with multiple levels of customer management and engineering staff across multiple departments within the host company in a responsible and professional fashion.
Expert level troubleshooting methodology to isolate and identify configuration, design, and software anomalies; ability to clearly articulate findings in written and verbal communications with development level engineering staff.
Ability to apply knowledge to real world scenarios.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and work calmly under pressure.
Self-starter, team player, personable, enthusiastic, hardworking, and enjoy interfacing with customers on a day to day basis.
It would be a plus to have hands-on configuration and operational knowledge of other Vendor products and their operation.
Having certifications: JNCIP-Security (Juniper Networks Certified Professional Security), JNCIP-ENT (Juniper Networks Certified Professional in Routing and Switching), JNCIA-AC (Certified Specialist UAC), JNCIA-SSL (Certified Specialist SSL)
