Your Career

The purpose of this role is to support Global Payroll Processing. Successful candidates will operate on a global level and will be expected to take ownership of individual responsibilities and contribute to team initiatives.

  • Process global monthly, Semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll for over 600 employees, track and deduct garnishments and special payroll deduction
  • Assist with reviewing and ensure accuracy of approved timesheets; 
  • Ensure valid data transfers to/from payroll services and coordinate between payroll, talent success team, GL and financial planning and analysis team and other departments to ensure accurate flow and maintenance of employee data (including preparation/distribution of detailed reports, e.g. overtime, leave balances, headcount, and retirement contribution reports
  • Maintain leave balance data of all employees in HRIS
  • Review changes for proper authorization and adherence to APA policy including compliance with federal/state/local regulations
  • Calculate bonus, vacation accruals on a monthly basis as well as forecast employee emoluments and provide regular reports to Accounting and FP&A team
  • Provide monthly payroll report to accounting team for accounting purpose
  • Review and Reconcile payroll data before processing payroll to ensure there are no short/excess payouts
  • Review invoices raised by payroll provider for a two match with the payroll register and payroll fees
  • Define policies and procedures for end to end payroll process and ensure control over payroll documentation
  • Processing Expense claims, Sales Commission and adhoc` payouts through internal and external payroll tools and applications
  • Respond to payroll queries from employees

Your Impact

  • Associate Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
  • 5+ years in a Payroll Office performing all payroll functions
  • Experience in processing payroll for US and UK 
  • Excellent skills using MS Word, Excel, Access
  • Understanding flow of transactions in an integrated and automated payroll accounting system
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
  • Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
  • Should have worked on payroll tools such as Blue Marble, ADP
