Sr Analyst, Channel Operations

Ivanti is seeking a Sr Analyst of Channel Operations to drive consistency and discipline throughout sales & channel across multiple business units.  This person will ensure business units are achieving their business goals, objectives, and metrics, thereby positioning their organizations to achieve quarterly/annual bookings targets.

Ivanti Channel Operations exists to identify existing and define new leading practices that enables revenue growth and increases profitability.  This is completed by implementing data practices, processes, reporting, and modelling that drive productivity, efficiency, transparency, and predictability.

The Sr Analyst of Channel Operations will:

  • Drive and own deep dive analysis on data for insights.
  • Assist in driving continued improvements and analysis of Channel and Sales Business Units.
  • This role contributes to the success of the sales and channel organization and its ability to meet/exceed business unit targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procedures for effective data management.
  • Create rules and procedures for data sharing.
  • Regularly monitor and evaluate information and data systems that could affect analytical results.
  • Report opportunity pipeline reports to gauge the health of the business
  • Produce weekly/monthly operational reports for sales teams and sales leadership.
  • Produce ad-hoc reports/analysis for sales leadership team
  • Collaborate with business partners inside and outside assigned business unit(s) to execute and achieve their quarterly/annual objectives.
  • Assist in executing on the short term tactical and long-term strategy for the assigned business unit(s).
  • Support the daily operations of the business unit(s) sales teams, which includes data, processes, reporting, quoting, forecasting, and other operational needs.
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, root causes, and possible solutions to improve business processes and reporting across the sales organization.
  • Uncover and implement policies and processes to increase productivity, efficiency, and accuracy across the sales organization.
  • Work closely with periphery organizations to further enable and execute on business objectives: Finance / Legal / Order Management / Compensation / Marketing
  • May perform other job duties as directed

Experience Required

  • 5+ years of significant experience with a software or hi-tech company
  • A minimum of 4+ years’ experience in data management or analysis
  • Ability to decipher and organize large amounts of data
  • An analytical mindset with superb communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to translate complex problems clearly and in nontechnical terms
  • Highly proficient in
    • SQL
    • Power BI & DAX
    • Excel modelling and data analysis (pivot, joins, logic statements, etc.)
  • Creative and analytical thinking
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to handle various tasks, attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work well with others as part of a team.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
