Product Marketing Intern

Overview
We are looking to hire a product marketing intern to join our growing marketing team this summer.  This person will be based at Pulse Secure’s Headquarters in San Jose, CA, USA and report to our Senior Director of Product Marketing.

What You Would Do

  • Work closely with product marketing, corporate marketing and product management teams, and participate in defining the product strategy, go-to-market tactics and product launches
  • Support the product marketing team in the development of presentations, selling guides, solution briefs, datasheets and other product collateral for use by Pulse Secure and partner sellers to help execute marketing-defined sales plays
  • Develop analysis of market size and customer buying behaviors
  • Develop industry specific solution briefs that clearly articulate Pulse Secure value proposition to target buyers
  • Analyze the channel mix, sales cycle and buying centers for specific products and solutions and formulate ideas for improving sales guides and accelerating the sales process 

Required Qualifications

  • MBA student preferred
  • 1 - 3 years of work experience in technology product marketing or product management, or other marketing related experience in entrepreneurial projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to translate technology features into business benefits
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and interact with teams including product management, sales, channels, demand generation and corporate marketing
  • A storyteller who can communicate the value of Pulse Secure solutions in a compelling and actionable way
  • A strategic thinker, acting as a key representative of the market/customer in any discussion

Desired Skills:

  • Tech savvy with the ability to quickly grasp new technology concepts
  • People skills, combined with passion, to evangelize new products and technologies
  • Self-starter who takes initiative to drive projects to completion
  • Experience with enterprise software preferred
